this morning we headed to the base again to see the marine drum and bugle corps and their silent drill team...the performance started at 11 but we wanted to get good seats which we did top row on the bleachers (only 5 high) but we also had a back...right on time they started and the viewing belachers were quiet enough that you could almost hear a pin drop....the drum and buglers were first and very good--then the drill team did their thing very impressive and good...well worth the time to go see them if you have a chance to do so..
they are stationed in Washington dc but come to Yuma for their winter training and practice...there wasn't even a plane flying during the performance...
good entertainment and most enjoyable...
life is stillgood even if it is 90 in the shade..
