GARDEN 2012

this is what we have been taking care of when we haven't been working in the house...the garden..the cucumbers are beginning to produce.also the zucchini..we could be eating some small beets but haven't picked any aas of yet..also been eating lettuce regular..the tomatoes are as tall as my shoulders and so far we have only eaten one..but it looks like we ought to be eating some real soon..also the peppers willl be picked tomorrow ..not sure what i will make with them maybe just eat them raw...so i appears that the hard work of weeding etc is finally going to pay off...amen to that..that god we have been abled to water it..years ago ewhen we put in the pond larry put in a pipe that runs down hill behind the barn then he put on a spicket so we can hook up a hose..there is enough pressure that we are able to us a sprinkler to water the garden...it sure has saved alot of time and energy carrying buckets of water rto the garden...good thinking on larry part ..we also used the water for the kennel when that was in business...

    

BUSY JULY

i know i haven't posted in awhile but we are in the middle sof a painting project and where has the time gone...using a paint brush i guess...we are doing 3 rooms and the hallway..and then we will pick out some new carpeting but really want to wait till we have more walls done before we pick so it will give us more of an idea of what color.texture we would want..as it will probally not be replace in our life time ahaahahah..

as you can see from the pictures of what the room looked like when we started...the first room was denise old bedroom so it was really needing a change --our bedroom will be next and the smae paint color..we decided to use the same color as it sure took us awhile to pick the color we now are using..just to make life easier ahhaah...

the month of june also busy trying to get as much outside chores caught up  before we started inside...sure wish it was a tad cooler but we will work with what we have...the back porch has been filled with the winter's supple of fire wood so we won't have to think about that when  we are finished with the inside project...

time to get back to the paint brush now that  lunch is over.....
