MEDORA, ND

this is truly a western feeling town...yesterday we toured teddy roosvelt national park and today we went to a cowboy museum...we found it to be most interesting and i learnt something about the wild horses we saw yesterday..they are offspring of the indian ponies from the 1880's--small but sturdy..after 2 hrs we decided to walk around town,, we just got the feel that it is from the old west..can you believe not one stop light and very few stop signs...everyone goes rather thru town all thou it is not a long distance to go thru..maybe a mile...a friendly little town..lar and I had on different t-shirts I had the bourbon trial and lar had on Lucy's Jamestown one...when we walked into several of the shops people remarked about them and of course struck up conversations regarding them..one man we talked to some time about the bourbon trail as they are heading to ten to work at amazon for a couple of months along with 600 other who have rv...working thru the holiday season...they have done it for 5 yrs and said it was fun and they were treated good...full hook-ups and 10$ an hr...also you get aa 10% discount if you buy something... tonight we are going off to a pitchfork fondue steak dinner (yes they really cook your steak on a pitchfork )---then a cowboy musical on top of a mountain (hill) i'll let ou know all about it hopefully tomorrow if we have Wi-Fi..planning on meeting up with tyler sat and we do know that he doesn't have any Wi-Fi nor cell phone coverage so we are going into hiding
outside statue----just a model of the local saloon--lar's uncle muck-aluck ahhahahahaha
