SAT-CALIF

here e are in a mcdonalds as the camp gorund we are in has a charge of 5.00 for 24 hrsof internet and we just didn't want to pay for it ..so here we sit as lar drinks coffee and eats an apple pie....so he is happy..

we are now in indio, calif just a shbort distance from palm springs...going across the desert yeaterday the wilkd flowers were just in full color..we have never seen the desert this full of color but then we have never been in the desert this time of year...as we look out our windows we can see snow on the mountains and palm trees...the flowers are in full bloom in town.....makes me feel like it ought to be may ortjune back home with the full color...

today we are going to go to joshua tree national park..yep for another stamp and also a hike ithe desert..maybe we can catch a ranger led hike but we well find out when we get there...

just one more state before we have been in all 50...then we will be on a slow trek back towards ithaca...but there is still much to see and do...
