FINALLY
now for me i've spent thurs and and fri baking for the harvest festival here in our community..cakes for the cake wheel that the auxiliary runs and the money goes to the community council for kid programs and also for the senior bake sale at the festival..then i spent most of the day helping with the cake wheel and it was a perfect fall day..could have been cold and rainy but the sun was out and nice which also helps bring out the people to come buy stuff..
then in the evening we went to a neighbor's pig roast that he has every year to celebrate his birthday--he also raises pigs so he picks out the best to butcher and roast...so it has been a busy saturday and today will also be..talked to lisa this morning and she said there ground is covered with FROST ugh..they are a bit north of us near the canadian border so they would get it way before we would..they live in the area of ny that gets the most snow..lucky them hahahah...
leaves are beginning to turn some so it won;'t be long that are hill sides will be full of color..

MORE
the garden is still producing and we have been eating tomatoes every day and sometimes twice a day...winter squash looks like we ought to have enough for us to enjoy...garlic done well and there more than enough for the season..our pear tree only has 2 pears on it so we will both get to eat one...grapes not so good--4 filberts on one of the trees...all in all the garden has paid for itself but the fruit trees not so good...
